Anne McIntyre has had a passion for herbs and herbal medicine since she was 16, that passion came across during her introductory talk to delegates at the 2008 Herb Society conference. Anne explained the path that had led her to become a herbalist, and gave a mental tour of her spiral garden, which she has offered to do a tour of for our members in 2009.

She also spoke about her love of Indian herbal medicine and ayurveda in particular, introducing ashwghanda to many delegates who had not encountered it before. Anne also confessed that her nickname was 'Aswahganda Annie'.
