Relaxing Aroma Milk Bath
Here is a recipe for a bath that will soften your skin and make you feel relaxed and good all over.
100g Milk Powder
50g Honey
5 Drops Lavender Oil
5 Drops Geranium Oil
5 Drops Orange Oil
Mix the milk powder and honey together to make a paste, then add the essential oils and mix those in as well.
Add the bath milk to your running bath water and swirl with your hands until it fully dissolves. The lavender will tone your skin as the milk and honey soften it, and the smell of the orange oil will help relax you. |
Cardea's Lime & Ginger Salt Scrub
This recipe was given to me by a lovely lady on another forum that I belong to, she says that the quantities are approximate, and she just adds a drop of oil at a time until it smells right.
½ Cup Coarse Sea Salt
Jojoba Oil
Fresh Lime Peel - Finely grated, about the size of a 10p (cleanses and purifies)
Fresh Ginger Root - Finely grated about a third less than the lime (invigorates)
5 Drops Frangipani Oil
2 Drops Neroli Light Oil
Mix all ingredients thoroughly. All you need is about a dessert spoon to do the whole body (I definitely use more) scrub gently over damp skin, or use as bath salts. It smells delicious....very exotic. I keep leftovers in the fridge because of the fresh ingredients but it may keep ok outside if it is in a cool dark place.
Notes: People with very sensitive skins may want to do a patch test first and should use fine sea salt instead of coarse. You can substitute orange, lemon or grapefruit peel for the lime if you fancy a change. |
